John Haag, R.I.P.
John Haag – poet, proprietor of the Venice
West Cafe, a founder of the Beachhead and the Peace and Freedom Party –
died March 29 after a brief illness.
John’s quiet leadership over several
decades was instrumental in shaping today’s unique Venice culture. No date
has yet been set for a memorial service.
